From Bagio Grande the bus climbed relentlessly up, all the way to Chachapoyas. |

Lots of run-off from days of rain in this region. El Niño was blamed. |

On the way up we stopped in a small town by the name of Pedro Ruiz, and were immediately besieged by locals selling food and drink. . |

Leaving town there was this, but no one seemed worried. They let it burn. It was on the other side of the river and more rain was expected. |

Getting close to Chachapoyas and we'll pick it up there. I loved the late in the day light and landscape. |
